Clean all the holes with rubbing alcohol.

Turn off the hot and cold water shutoff valves under the sink.
Pick out a new faucet that meets the appropriate size and specifications for your sink.
Use your hands or an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts and unthread them from the tailpieces.
Put the new faucet in position placing the appropriate valves into their matching holes.
